The African Arts Institute and Artists Unite as One Campaign use the arts to fight xenophobia on Heritage Day.On 24 September 2010, aspiring young film-makers and concerned individuals will come together on National Heritage Day to view thought-provoking short film pieces that address the current xenophobia crisis gripping our country post-world cup and explore other themes related to heritage, memory, human rights and democracy.This showcase will take place at the Labia Theatre, Orange Street, Cape Town and will take the form of a competition, which will be judged on

SSP identifies high potential learners in grade 6 that have the intelligence and drive to attend Johannesburg’s best high schools but do not have the financial means. To qualify, learners need to fulfill the following criteria:· Be in grade 6 in 2010· Be 12 years old or younger in 2010· Achieve an aggregate of 65%
